Police has been present at the Albanian National Treasury Office in the suburb of Tirana, to keep the building under their watch, according to unofficial sources.
Police have not allowed the armored security vehicles of second-level banks, which in normal days enter to transport money.
The Treasury Office, which is also known as the Department of Emission of banknotes has allowed only its experts to enter the building today. Investigators have worked all day on the procedures used by the staff for moving money.
Unofficial sources say that work in the department where the theft took place has been suspended not only because of the investigations, but also because some employees have been suspended.
