Bank of Albania report, lending dropped 1,8% during 2013

The Bank of Albania has presented on Thursday the annual supervision report for 2013. During last year banking system has appeared stable despite the negative impact the global crisis had on the Albanian economy which was also reflected in the entrepreneurship. Bank of Albania published the 2013 banking supervision report, concluding that landings of second level banks has been decreased by 1.8 %, or 10.7 milliard lek compared with the level of 2012.

AB say that according to these data, private sector had the largest credit weight and held 68.9% at the end of 2013.

The main problem is bad credit, Albanian Telegraphic Agency reports.

In the report is stressed that during last year Albanian Bank has released three guidelines to commercial banks in connection with the restructuring the bad credits for business, individuals and immobile wealth during credit disbursing.- Oculus News
