VOA and Rama: Status Report, positive rating is expected

The European Commission today is expected to reaffirm the recommendation to grant Albania candidate status. Brussels sources told VOA that the recommendation comes after the report recognizes the progress made in these areas as the fight against corruption, organized crime and judiciary reform.
Even last October the European Commission recommended granting candidate status in December but member countries requested more time and pushed their decision.
The European Commission has already drafted a new report which is expected to be published today, to be distributed later to member countries.
The report is focused on the country's progress in the fight against corruption, organized crime and judiciary reform.

According to the same sources, is expected that the report to highlight the fact of what the country has yet to do to progress on the path of European integration. 
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama, Writes on his Facebook page: "Yes! A firm yes for candidate status is recommendet by Comission to EU members!
