An illegal object comprised in an area of 185 square meters, at "Rruga Kavajës" Street, Tirana, collapsed Tuesday morning. According to INUK (Inspectoriate responsible for the legality of the buildings), its builders had abused with about 150 square meters area, thus, occupying the public space.
Two-story building, which previously was the house of Veliaj Astrit, who is currently a member of the Democratic Party and a deputy of Albanian Assembly.
Veliaj was not present at the moment of the action that continued without objection by the owners of the building.
Meanwhile, a day before in an similar action in the city of Vlora were also clashes between inspectors of INUK and residents, and it was the police intervention of Rapid Intervention Forces (FNSH) who supported the action.
