Serbian custom employees at Macedonia-Presevo border stopped the attempt of an Albanian-Macedonian citizen to enter in Serbia with 560 grams of gold worth of 11,960 euros, Serbian custom stated.
As stated by the Serbian custom, "a Macedonian citizen with a 'Opel Vectra' vehicle has hidden the confiscated gold".
The common question asked by custom employees that if the citizen had something to show before crossing the border, the passenger said that there is nothing to announce.
However, custom officers decided to check the car thoroughly and in the back seat found a box covered with personal clothes.

When they opened the box, discovered gold family jewelery weighing about 560 grams worthy of 11,960 euros, Iliria News Agency reports.
