The Netherlands agree to grant Albania the EU candidate status. The news has been confirmed by the Prime Minister Edi Rama after meeting with minister Timmermans.
"Thanks to our results and the new confidence Albania has created but also the support from the Prime Minister Rutte and minister Timmermans, the Netherlands say "YES"", Rama writes on Twitter.
For this good news the Premier thanked his ministers engaged in the process, especially the Foreign and European Integration Ministers, Ditmir Bushati and Klajda Gjosha.
