One explosion on a bus and one in a market have been reported in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. Four people are believed to have been killed and many more injured.
The National Disaster Operations Centre (NDOC) reported the blasts Friday on its Twitter feed:
It was not immediately clear what caused the blasts. The Red Cross, whose emergency teams were helping with the injured at the sites, said it was not yet known if the explosions were attacks or accidents. The organization added that victims had been sent to Kenyatta National Hospital.
